Wheel Well warns public: wheelwell.org.za is no longer its website
Johannesburg, [12/10/2026] – Child road safety non-profit Wheel Well is alerting the public, donors, partners and the media that the domain wheelwell.org.za is no longer owned or controlled by the organisation. Wheel Well’s only official website is now wheelwell.co.za.
The wheelwell.org.za domain was taken out of Wheel Well’s control and is not operated by the organisation. Any content, email addresses, donation requests or banking details on that site do not come from Wheel Well.
“Our supporters’ trust is everything to us,” said Peggie Mars, founder of Wheel Well. “We ask everyone to use wheelwell.co.za only, and never to donate through the old address. If anything seems unusual, please phone us before sending money.”
Wheel Well asks the public to:
- Use only wheelwell.co.za for information, bookings and donations
- Not donate to, or share personal information with, wheelwell.org.za or any @wheelwell.org.za email address
- Confirm banking details with Wheel Well by phone before donating

About Wheel Well
Wheel Well is a South African non-profit working to keep children safe on our roads. Founded by Peggie Mars and based in Bedfordview, Gauteng, we collect donated car seats, clean and safety-check them, and give them to families who can’t afford one for a affordable Donation – more than 11 500 children so far through our Car Seats for Kids campaign. We also run child-pedestrian projects such as Halo Beanies, Kids of the Go, Life is a journey, Make it a safe one and campaign for safer road laws. It is a Level 1 B-BBEE NPC with Section 18A status.
